advice for connecting set top box,dvd recorder and pay tv decoder to a plasma tv?

i have a atd set top box, lg (dr6921w) dvd recorder and austar pay tv decoder. i want to connect all three so that can watch free tv while recording austar or vice versa. what is the best way to connect these. i have a plasma tv.

it depends what connections you have on the units.

I mainly use s-video as they are the connections I have one the three components. depending on the units some of the connections cannot transmit to diffferent oot puts. ie. on the foxtel box scart you cannot have component leads from tv scart & svideo from the other.

I have the same problem.
Bought a plasma TV last year, got Fox Satellite connected, cannot record Fox as every time I try to program this it just will not record
on AV1...reverts to AV2.
One of you kind guys did explain how to do this, but not being especially familiar with this stuff I couldn't solve the problem. Have enquired about IQ, but $125 connection + monthly fees is a no-no.


I have plasma TV connected to DVD with Hard Drive.

Detailed help would be greatly appreciated.
