Do not buy these filters. I was silly enough to purchase one from Tony
(myeemail@optusnet.com.au) recently, it smelt like someone had pissed in it
and it was covered in mould. When I complained about it, I was told
"They're all like that!". A very disappointing product :(

Nasty! Well, I just re-visited the site mentioned above, and the
filters don't really look all that flash anyway. I can see why they
sell for a 'small fortune' though.
Cheers,

Ahh.. so that's how they're tested :)

Yup, seems like quite an interesting, if not slightly convoluted method
of ensuring the 'minerals required by our bodies and any living tissue'
are left in the filtered water. I was expecting some kind of activated
charcoal type system. Might explain the smell you encountered, too.
Cheers,
Andy. (t'other Andy.)

Unless you're interested in purchasing obsolete 15-18 year old Apple Mac
hardware (read: worthless) you're not missing out on much.

My apologies Tony, you are of course correct. The 'rare and
collectible' (obsolete and worthless) LCIII is 14 years old. The 7200
(same category again) would be 12 years old. They're both about $60
overpriced, BTW.
And boy, that 2.1GB hard drive sure looks tempting.
I've got a super collectible IIsi floating around somewhere. I'll let
you have it for $500 + postage.

What am I bid for a working SE30 with manual?
What about DigiDesign SoundTools audio card and interface that even the
local distributor didn't know they'd made for the SE30?

Hmmm...well the going rate a couple of years ago from the universities
was: Dump 15-20 of them on a pallet *outside* and wait for them to be
taken away.
With the manual however, I'm sure Tony would value it at around $250.
