OT: motards

Colleague just spent $10.5k on a Suzuki 400 something something SM
(that's *super* motard.......don't get it wrong!)
Are these the RAV4 of bikes? Depending on your view, they're either
versatile go-kinda-anywhere bikes or useless P'sOS that don't do
anything really well.

My mechanic races one. He says it is awesome. Cross between tarmac and
dirtbike racing.
