hi guys
i bought a bmw 316i se from my mate.it is a 1997 reg.the alarm siren
needs a key i think which is missing.i bought a master key today so i
can use the remote locking function.but they couldnt set it to do it
at the dealer.when they realised that the alarm siren is at off
position they said i should have the key.otherwise the siren needs
replacing i got told.£230 with labour costs thank you very much.
so somebody please HELP me as i am desperate and definitely dont wanna
spend that much.anyone knows where i can purchase this key or whether
i can use some sort of tool to turn it to on position,help will be
much appreciated

Take it to an auto audio shop that does alarms as well. They should be able
to replace teh key or at least just replace the siren unit for nicks.

Are you living in a time waRP?
We have had decimal currency in AUSTRALIA since 1966.
As for helping you out in the UK from here in OZ then I'm afraid that
can't be helped.
