A friend of mine has a basic Nokia phone connected to Optus (prepaid) and
several times a day gets an alert along the lines of "Allow SIM card to send
message? Yes/No".
Can anyone tell me what message it wants to send and why?
Thanks
Annette.

that just might be the sim back-up service that optus provides,
and being a basic phone, maybe it is not capable of backing up the sim
over their network.
And then again, I could be wrong, been there before, will be wrong again..
