Divx and HDD's

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone out there has tried this,

I have a panasonic eh65 dvd recorder and am wondering is there anyway to store divx's burnt onto a dvd and transfer directly onto the HDD and watch them off there?

You can copy pictures and copy other non-protected dvds to it, but i cant seem to get divx's onto it.

Any suggestions?

the only way ive got to work is to use my portable divx player and feed thru one of the AV inputs on the dvd player and get it to record the AV channel. This however will require me to watch all the divx;s to record.

I bought the 75ex hoping to do the same as well has transfer mp3 to the hdd, but the manual says a big "NOOOOOO". I should have done my research a little better before I bought the thing. I believe you can transfer mp3 to the hdd on the Pioneers though.
