My unit died on me :cry: (after 3 years of constant use) and I need a replacement. I'm looking for a DVD based unit, but things like slots for memory cards and USB are a bonus :). I've looked around both in shops and done some online searches but none seem to have the crucial VGA out that I'm after. I'll be grateful for any suggestions, thanks!!

Bought one and it does the job well enough. A few bugs (screensaver doesnt kick in unless you have a video DVD in 'stop' mode.. no 'time remaining'.. no switching of audio tracks on the fly for some DVDs without UPOs) but for $70 it's a steal.

Actually, I'm getting another unit from overseas, the Maya one(s) went back to the shop for a refund.

None of them play original dual layer discs via VGA, the screen is garbled and so is the sound. Backups work fine, it seems to be the copy protection kicking in whenever 'VGA out' is selected.
