Yeah I noticed that this afternoon. Nothing from around 1330 till 1700 (when I
stopped checking). Probably a Zionist plot, or UFOs, or chemtrails, or
something...

You were told that this was going to happen last week. This was to
prove to the non-believers and thin-skins that the 'bypass filter'
really does exist. But I'm certain there will be doubters who will
come up with some other theory.

It seems that you may need to invest in a decent newsreader. I have
no problem with mine, and nobody else I know is having problems, so
perhaps the problem is with your newsreader. Worth checking into
maybe?

Since they changed to the new interface, it's quite
frankly fucked. Usable, but fucked.

Some newsgroups will update, others won't.

About the only new feature I see is posting
stats - that seems to work, even if you
post under the same handle from somewhere
else.

The posting limit thing totally sucks.

More often than not, need to click "Send" twice,
because "sorry an error, try again".

It's Mozilla. Web based, my internet connection is fine. If I click on
Window, Mail and newsgroups, all works fine though my ISP.

Nup, their new stuff is certainly broken in a number of ways.

I've had to go to my ISP to sometimes post, or read
messages/replies to posts, rather than Google Groups.

Err, so what?

Usenet is not Google Groups.

Of course not. Dejanews, the antecedent of Google Groups, didn't
start until 1995, so how could it have posts from the 14th century?
