Hello,
Whilst playing media that is displayed directly on Web pages sometimes
the video is very dark. It is present, that is to say it is not a black
window, but just very dark.
Other similar websites , such as Youtube play with perfect brightness
and contrast.
A variety of individual .avi's and .mpeg's also play on Windows Media
Player with no trouble.
Windows XP SP2. Windows Media Player 9 .FFdshow and Divx codecs
installed. Nvidia video drivers are new. DirectX 9 I think. Adobe
Flashplayer 9.
The site concerned is diynetworks.com, a Knitty Gritty video ( yes, help
me, the wife can't see her knitting videos )
Is this a case of Microsoft partners insisiting we install Vista and
Media PLayer 10 maybe ?
Thanks for any help forthcoming.
Regards
