G'day,
I have a Palsonic 50cm LCD TV about a year old (it has a inbuilt DVD player). It's very noisy and also turns off by itself every so often.

I spoke with Palsonic about the shut down problem and they replaced the power cable/transformer (which I didn't use as the problem seemed to fix itself).

It has progressively become noisy when turned on - a significant humming noise.

Of course I've taken it to the authorised repairer and it's fine.

Does any else have the same problem with this brand, any suggestions?

Thanks
Chris

Did the volume or pitch of the noise change with the transformer work done ?
would posting a sound clip be possible ?

The noise got louder over time. I did not try the new power cable/transformer as the issue seemed to resolve itself.

The TV is in at the repairers at the moment and of course they cannot find a problem. I should also say that I have an RCA/thompson STB connected in this configeration.
