Hate to say it but it seems we are getting ripped off by newbies on this forum. Any chance of locking out the trading areas unless the user has been a member for a certain period and has a certain number of posts.... say 1 month and 25 posts?
Does anyone believe this may help?
I think it would remove the ripped off by 1st post syndrome!
Thoughts everyone?

I think its a good idea, I personally never buy or trade from a newbie unless someone else has used them and recieved their dvds.

sounds good providing their posts are quality and not just choking them up to be able to trade - so yeah a 1 or 2 month membership sounds good....

People shouldnt be trading with people who could be seen as dodgy, or dont have a good rep (they are new) unless they are stupid and are willing to risk throwing away their cash.
And People who are dodgy just shouldnt be here in the first place.

We have a section here that is called Trader References where regulars leave feedback regarding transactions with others.
Although it doesn't promise that you'll have a great transaction, it can be a good place to look at the comments on a person who is listed in there.
One thing that shits me is how people make a comment like.... "yer...i have been messed around by dodgy traders in here", but they have never left feedback to warn others.
We had some negative feedback on a tosser who was a regular here once and it was a bit of a surprise to a lot of us. Soon, people started coming out of the woodwork and telling of how they had been stiffed by this person in a similar way in the past. :rolling:
If people had spoken up earlier, a lot of people may have had second thoughts about dealing with this person and there could have been a lot less people stung.
Leave the feedback (good and bad) and help eachother out folks. :)
Just make sure your negative feedback is justified and can be proven if need be. Also remember that all comments in that section are not seen by the public until Admins have read it first and let it through.
