There are no traffic lights on freeways. More light = faster shutter
speed = frozen action

why the trucky was being illegal while this guy had his eyes off the
road to adjust the camera settings, take the pic then check to see if
the pic was right

Wrong. My phone is similar to a dedicated camera, so you do not need
to step through any menus to take a picture... open the lens cover,
aim, fire.

I didn't review the image until I was home, in fact I'd forgotten
about it and came across it a week later.
