Last time I saw the 246 specs they had a 2.4 litre V6.

3.0l V6????? Do you actually own one? I assume an owner would know that
it had a 2.4 V6 (hence the name). Also available with a 2.0.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_Dino

Unless of course you have a modified one. Or a super rare, limited edition.

and your still avoiding the issue, put up or shut up, even a simpleton like
you can understand that.
how hard would it be to put the Verada next to the 246 Dino, leave the
bonnet up on the Verada so we can see the blower :-)
or you could put the Dino next to the Lotus,
I could easily just do a google groups search and trawl through all the
dross to recount everything, I just couldn't be bothered at the moment,
maybe tonight when I have more free time :-)

Yeah, Wiki does that sort of thing.
It's a place where people without a clue expound their knowledge in an
effort to misinform the entire world.

Knock youself out.
Oh remember to include my recent purchase , which I have just been
advised is in the hands of the freight company, and the very recent
sale which will go out next month to its new home in NZ.

246 Dino
Evo 9
Blown Verada
Some old Magna TE IIRC
Triton needing a rebuild
Clubman under construction with a bunch of quaife stuff in it.

Did I pass?

I let it slide. I'd just come home from physio and was feeling quite good,
so I thought I'd go easy.

Since then I've been out dismantling a bridgeport mill that's been stuck

My mistake.

I thought you mentioned that the reason why the inside of the guards weren't
painted was because they were ally, and as you and I both know they're tin
just like on any Falcadore.

Actually, not just like on any Falcadore. It's *Italian* tin, so it'll start
rusting if it gets within 1 km of moisture :)

246's were definitely made out of tin. Every one I've seen has been anyway,
as most of them had a fair amount of rust....

Can't say I blame you there.

An XC Falcon "GT spec" would have been fitted with a 351 Cleveland that made
around 150hp and got 9 miles per gallon :)

and on that, we both agree, anyone who claims Wiki as a reputable source of
information, deserves the reaming that is probably just around the corner,
its just a vague guide as far as I am concerned :-)

Main reason I bought and still own the car is because it has no
rust..none at all.
It's also the reason I knocked back $175K from a UK dealer.

It went OK, and handled great complete with GT race suspension up
front and a custom rear end.still leaf, but well retained.
But rust!!!! Jesus, I've seen Fiat 130's with less.

Awww OK...after many years of trying, and buying the Evo to console
myself when I missed the one I thought was in the bag, I've paid a
really stupid amount for one of these
http://www.lanciamontecarlo.net/lan-037.html
It's an Evo2 and an ex factory car and has a 'history'
It's also the reason I've sold one of my Lancias and the Bavaria 37
