Just after clarification...

If you trade in either a ps2 or xbox plus 10 games, you can get a ps3 for $699

OR

If you trade in either a ps2 or xbox plus 20 games, you can get a ps3 for $499

Is this the case?

You can trade a ps2 or xbox and 10 games and get $300 off the system (or go and buy an EB Edge card for $10 and they can bump that upto $330 as the EB Edge card gives 10% extra trade in). After this mark every PS2 or xbox title you trade in gives a further $20 ($22 with the EB Edge card).

This deal is only on the PS3, but you can use it on any PS3 products i.e if you have a PS3 already you can use it to get games. You also dont need to trade a console in, as long as you're getting a PS3 product with your trade in EB will guarantee $20 ($22 with the EB Edge card) per PS2/Xbox title you trade in.

It's really handy if you have a pawnshop nearby as you should be able to offer them $10 per title if you buy in bulk and trade 'em straight to EB as they have no exclusions on this deal.

So i must of just dreamt up that if you trade in 20 games, you get more off?

:o

EDIT: Oh wait its good to see i cant read, you wrote ... After this mark every PS2 or xbox title you trade in gives a further $20 ($22 with the EB Edge card).

Would you have to buy the EB Edge card, before you actually trade it in?

Well actually this is at 5 different EBs at least, Mt Druitt, Penrith, Blacktown and both Parramatta stores in NSW.

Yeh Sydney was fine. I tried with EB up here in QLD and they said its only a local thing with Mt Druitt at the time as some other competitor had been doing that deal.

No wonder you can go and buy shite loads of PS3's and make a cool profit TheAnswer.

Clear out the cashies and trade the games for $22. Wish I could do that.

Would that give $20 on any game.

I have FIFA 02 in crap condition with no manual. Have to be a restriction wouldnt there. (also has the EB 2nd hand sticker for $17.95 on it).

When I traded in it was any game, even ones without manuals. The majority I traded in at $22 each were then give a $17.95 price tag when being put on the shelves :dD

LOL Nice. :D

Makes me wish I had've kept all those old launch PS2 games which were worth less than sqaut when I ebayed them.

That's sweet :). Here in the U.S they also have this offer as well. I may just think of doing it. Who knows, maybe this could be good for those that didn't get to experience PS2.

Which PS3 package is it and does it include a game?

Um, no. Basically it's what the previous posters have mentioned;

Trade In Items
- PS2
- Memory Card
- PS2 Game Controller
- 10 Games

This would ammount to $300 (or $330 if used with the EB Games Advantage card)

With the Memory Card. You need to buy an extra card so that you can have a back up save file. And that no saved data gets lost during the trade.
