Hi all,
Does anyone know where the Windows Media player gets its information
from when it reads a CD? I'm talking about the album title, track
listing, etc.

I have noticed quite a few errors and would like to have them
corrected if at all possible!

Windows Media player uses neither Gracenote/CDDB or FreeDB.

It uses The AMG Lasso service, run by the people who do the All Music Guide
at www.allmusic.com - and because of that, inaccuracies abound as the data
isn't based on accurate matches with individual CDs.
