Scenario: Jack pulls into school parking lot with rifle in gun rack of his
truck.



1963: Vice Principal comes over, takes a look at Jack's rifle, goes to his
truck and gets his to show Jack.

2007: School goes into lockdown, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and
never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized
students and teachers.

A chunk of sulphur to dropped into a container of water used to liven
things up a bit in science class:-)
In the 60's we used to make a powder from iodine crystals mixed with
ammonia which would explode when touched, I suspect that even asking for
the ingredients in a chemist shop would get the police called now.
The look on the teachers face when the desk exploded when they put their
books down was worth the big trouble we used to get into and that was
nothing to the shit we used to get into when we electrocuted (high
voltage very low current) someone:-)

Electrocuted means you killed someone, perhaps you meant shocked someone?
The main problem with explosive devices in the '60s was lack of timer ICs
so you could make a getaway.. or pulse an eht coil via a power
transistor.
Bring back bungers for kids too. Those bloody letter boxes eardrums
and fingers get it too easy these days. About all kids can do now is post
you a lit crap. I feel sorry for the little bastards having to play in
their own poo.

Sadly true - while the related stories appeared to be told
tongue-in-cheek, I have experienced, first-hand, a series of bad
experiences with DUMB cops and a DUMB magistrate which were instigated
by my DUMB crazy# ex spouse - all of which were untrue. Some
convictions took TWO YEARS to get an appeal hearing in an higher
appellate court AND overturned. In the meantime, it caused considerable
stress, expense and slurred character.

# confirmed as mentally ill (but not ill enough to 'declare' - and
everyone concerned knew it) by the Chief of Psychiatry at a major hospital.

government "exiled" him from Parramatta when the complaints started
rolling in - and sent him to "Siberia" where he traumatised that
community for another nine years:
