That was embarrasing,..excellent quiz. Some questions were based on
semantics, but not all.

As one protestor had on his sign "Get a brain, morans"

Baseball of course. The quiz is 'Merikun-centric, I bet David Z scored high
in it and Noddy pretty low.

It wasn't RIGHT minus WRONG anyway.

The questions were obviously not that difficult, otherwise they wouldn't
have given you only 10 seconds.

Such quizzes are usually full of questions with hidden meanings, and they
give you a time limit to stop you from spending long enough on each question
to realize it.

They measure nothing other than the willingness of the participant to waste
time on them.

For YOU to realise maybe.....the time limit is there to sort wheat
from chaff.....

For what ultimate aim?

Such things are designed to "con", and the time limit forces wrong answers
on purpose. It's nothing but amusement Oz, and doesn't sort anything at all.

There is no "con".
The test is to determine your ability to comprehend what was written.
The time limit is to test just how quickly you can do that.

It appears that you were incapable of full comprehension irrespective
of any time allowed....why am I not surprised..

It proves nothing. I doubt einstein came up with any of his theories in 10
seconds.

My point is some of the greatest minds in the world don't think quickly.

The ability to think quickly and respond is a great assett. Especially
when driving a car. I took the test and only got the innings question
wrong as I didn't realise it was about baseball.

Whilst some things come through long and deep thought, often when the
initial thought is extrapolated and the answer to the problem is close
the mind works extremely quickly and can often cause problems by jumping
ahead of the necessary steps to the solution. Now if you can understand
that you are doing well!!

Actually they probably do for simple little things like those
questions.
Real problems take a little longer.
