Wow.
What "shows" do you enter into where "blue neons under the dash & a rocket
switch" will gain you points with the judges?
I'd just like to know so I never make the mistake of ever going to one :)

I didn't see one mention of a performance mod there besides lowering.

I have to apologise to the Mitsubishi designers. After seeing the "design
skills/taste" of Mitsubishi owners, I have come to realise that Mitsubishi
designer are not sh!t, they are just catering for the sh!t taste of
Mitsubishi owners.

Do you happen to think it's meant to be driven? :)
In which case you might want to check out the third picture down on
the left side. Note the oil slick on the driveway from where it was
parked for the first picture. :))

LOL! Bet that'd go down well with the 'show car' judges...
And $14K? FFS, they're a fercking horrible car regarless of the
condition it's in. My guess is that it's dripping oil out of the leaky
seal/s almost as fast as it's throwing it out the tailpipe...
Andy.

Can you tell me why it's necessary to modify for performance?
Seems to me the car was modified only to suit the owners idea of good
taste.
I suspect if he was after performance he would have started with
something other than the chosen vehicle.

If he was after a decent *car* he would have started with almost anything
else, so clearly he has no fucking idea.
Like most Mitsubishi freaks.

Maybe Oz, but my ancient old Falcon has more style & class in one of it's
bumper bar bolts than that thing has in it's entirety :)

Either
a) you wouldn't of mentioned anything because it didn't have a Mitsubishi
badge.
b) if it was a Holden you would be ragging on it something chronic.

Naturally it's not but the owner is trying to give the impression of
performance without actually having any.

Nope, the owner is trying to give the impression that this is a
showcar and states that emphatically.
He makes not a single mention of performance nor alludes to it in his
description.
"2000 model lancer absolute SHOWCAR!!!

FULL CUSTOM DROID BODYKIT THAT FITS PERFECTLY, EVERFY GAP IS PERFECT,
AND HAS A CUSTOM BLUE PAINTJOB WITH HOUSE OF KOLOR GOLD ICE PEARL
(PICTURES DO NO JUSTICE)

CLEAR TAILLIGHTS AND CLEAR SIDE INDICATORS ON GUARDS
FULL CUSTOM CREAME INTERIOR EMBROIDERY AND 2 GAUGES IN DASH AND BLUE
NEONS UNDER THE DASH WITH A ROCKET SWITCH
