What is the story that companies like Leaseplan are no longer able to
give the Government Car Plan discount to mere plebs public servants
but only to SES?
that means those guys who earn more money are able to salary sacrifice
cars that actually cost them less than mere ASO 5's. An extra saving
of several thousand on each model.

No idea what this means but I recon they all should drive Suzuki
hatches, there is no excuse for driving 4x4's.
Funny That Forestry Tasmania all drive silly 4l turbo diesels with fleet
custom numberplates.
All of them do 100mph along the back roads when no cops are about, slide
round couners and the norm, however as of the liberal gov co rising, all
forestry roads must be atleat 15 foot wide, and meet a road specification
for drainage etc.
These Forestry never drive in the muck, never really have, they often pull
just off the road onto some bark from shreded tree's which is a bit
muddy,I do add some of the old roads are excessivly steep,in which case
only a 4x4 can make them, but forestry only used these roads once and
that was with a bull dozer.
I recon all gov co should drive suzuki swifts and in forestry tas case
spend the money saved on foot paths for their employee's to walk on,it
would have to cut down on liability claims.
Seriously gov co should do what other countries do,thatis to make their
own car, which is affordable, reliable, and robust and easy to repair, this
is done in many country's.

You live in melbourne or some other large city right?
Contrary to what some city residents might think, there is not a nice
wide tarmac road leading to everywhere one might need to go..
Yeah a susuki hatch will go real well full of 2 tons worth chain saws,
shovles and other bush clearing gear on a goat track half way up a
mountain..

All his observations are from what he sees driving past his front gate
where he tends to his magic mushroom crop
if he has ever actually left his own little plot and been into the
forest areas he would have seen all those turbo diesel landcruisers
loaded up with gear and travelling up and down very steep rutted tracks
in lo/4
