Its what you get for not filling in the paper work....
You would think by now they would lock them away for good.

Detained by GovCo. Likely a 'Don't ask, don't tell' situation, too.
HTH :-)

Depends what you were using before you sampled the undoubted delignts
of the PAN thing.
I was using a Windoze reader called Dialog - which pissed all over most
any other reader on the planet.
Still does. Verified that with trials of
thunderbird/pan/evolution/sylpheed claws and probably a few others I
don't care to remember.
Anyhow, Dialog is what I believe is called a Killer App and is one of
the three proggies that kept me with Windoze - admittedly dual use
with Linux, for years. Another was Becky Email - another work of pure
genius. Anyhow, the developer of Becky is too busy to port the thing to
Linux, as is the developer of Dialog. The guy who wrote Ventafax kind
of freaked out when Iasked him about a Linux port - said something very
bad about Windoze API's and that he wouldn't go through anything like
that ever again:-)
Annoying, too because I actually paid all those guys for their code -
and all gave me a bettere than even go with it - the really clever
people, it seems, see no need to charge for bux-fixes and upgrades -
unlike some other turds out there.
So - Thunderbird has matured a tad - almost usable.
Ventafax is damm brilliant, but in essence doesn't do much more than
Linux's shitty efax-gtk thing. As for Hylafax - bloody hell!
And this news reader is close to a clone of Dialog - and very usable.
Add in the fact that it's pretty obvious that Micro$soft actually
charging money for Vista which doesn't even rate as a bug-fix, and the
writings on the wall that Linux is the only way to go - especially for
paranoid mongrels such as moi.
So......until someone (like Steve Gibson, ferinstance) pops a decent Op
system outa their arse....

Need to point him towards the WINE libraries. I haven't actually used
them but they're supposed to allow you to take existing windoze program
source code and link it with the WINE libs to create a linux X-windows
executable.
