They have the 2001 model which seems to have a PCMCIA slot whereas the 2002 model doesnt.

Can anyone tell me how this model handles AVI's etc.
If say the AVI is 640x480 or 640x350 can you get the picture to "fill the screen", or does the Lite-on go to 720x576, and display the picture centered.
I've just got a XMS-888 player that does avi's, and there appears to be no way to tell the image to fill the screen. It only fills the screen with avi files on "standard" video sizes 352x288 480x576 720x576.

got mine on www.sigmo.com.au plays all MPEG-4 files incl. xvid also allowes to stretch/resize the picture to your liking, incase you want to make the widescreen format movies more full screen.
