Starcraft 2

The announcement has been made!!!
I can't wait till it comes out! The trailer looks awesome!
But before i crap on about it... is there anyone who cares about starcraft?
Because we waiting for ages for Ghost to come out, then it gets axed.. :rolling: now starcraft 2 is coming !! :)

It'll be interesting to see waht they do with it. Im not a huge fan of Starcraft, but if it goes up against Supreme Commander, count me in!
Ghost was goin to be stodgy anyway...

I'm surprised your generation even played it, it was only due to it's cult following as a LAN game and it's N64 release that kept it's name alive so long. :)

Blizzard are damn famous for taking their time with sequels, I waited a long time for Diablo 2 as well.
I played starcraft a fair bit way back then, usually against mates on a home game, all linked up with the old RJ45 cabling which usually took half a night to get everyone's computer detected at the same time. :p

Glad they're keeping to the 3 warring factions.
A 4th, while it would add a new dimension for those already familiar with the game, would make the game a little cluttered.

I played it a lot through LAN with my friend and his bro (he was much older).

Totally agree with the 3 teams, they're all so different and thats waht makes it... funnerer. Nobody likes Zerg though... Protoss just kicks ass

The Zerg and their burrowing technique made for some very impressive traps though, and their 2-for-1 deal with the zerglings made for interesting battles. :)

Protoss were too slow to begin for my liking, but once the base was set up, they are hard to beat.

Nah Terran is the best. All the pro's would agree - well balanced.
Zerg is fun to play around with when you build 1000 hatcheries and just go nuts on one character. Protoss owns zerg with the storm, but can be boring for me.

i used to play this game religiously, and upon hearing of the announcement, i think i am gonna go buy a new PC again !!

i always loved the Zerg, and i used to live on battlenet. played over 1400 games on it back in the hey day.
