View Full Version : Blu-ray media
Friend lent his brand new SP3 to me to check out. I will keep it for a few days. Naturally I would have no time to play games on it. I am wondering where can I purchase/rent Blu-ray movies in a handy way? The owner does not have anything to throw at it too. Are these commonly available now in the shop? Any recommendations of which piece to buy for demo purpose?

JB Hi Fi for local.
If you have time to import get Sahara. Fantastic on blu ray.

NSU, you do have a high definition TV right? Otherwise Blu-ray is a waste of time.

I have a HD projector. Unfortunately I did not have a long HDMI cable when I took it home. The Audio needs to connect to the Amp at the front.
I bought a Blu-ray DVD, the one to do with 911 and hook it up with the 40" HD LCD TV at work last night. I was not completely impressed with the quality. It could well be the DVD's problem. I was expecting to see better quality out of it. I was quite impressed by the HD free to air TV output on the HD projector and was expecting something similar from a Blu-ray DVD.:)

nsu I don't know how much time you have but quickflix (http://www.quickflix.com.au/quickflix.aspx) rent out blue -ray titles and they do have a no obligation, free trial period.
Also, your projector is no good if you don't have a long HDMI cable, so just box it up and sent it to me.;) I'll pay postage to help you out and my mailing address is on the EYO files.:p
