that's really frustrating

couldn't get to the game tonight and MMM was getting no reception so
was forced to listen to 3AW...how shit are those commentators...all of
them trying so hard to be funny and failing miserably

2nd quarter brisbane goal to hit the lead and some idiot says richmond
are gone...kept saying it all through the game despite the margin
never going over 3 goals...morons

and kane johnson has to get dropped...use the broken hand as an excuse
and make richo captain...he's having a shocking year and is failing
the team when he's needed

A decent AFL team would have probably beaten a combined side of these two
teams tonight, they were both pathetic.

Don't blame one player for performing the same crap at the end that most
of the other were doing from the first bounce.

i don't know if it's because of his hand or what, but johnson isn't
looking much like a captain lately...give him a rest for a week or two

Round 10 he had 16 kicks, 6 handballs and 11 marks. Total of 22 disposals He
was the 3rd highest in possessions for Richmond in last nights game.
Year to date he is 4th highest disposals with a total of 192. On the other
side he has had 16 frees against him for the season. The game last night was
not lost by Johnson alone. Look at the second quarter and some Richmond
players were there only in body not in mind

well, like i said...i was listening to 3AW so it was pretty hard to
follow the game...they have to spend 30-45 seconds making puns on a
player's name after he gets the ball so we listeners miss 3 out of
every 4 possessions

but from the sound of it, johnson stank up the last few minutes when
we had a real chance to steal the game...the commentators were saying
that when the siren went, he started to celebrate as though we'd
won...maybe they're full of shit or maybe he thought we were
ahead..but it's worrying

I left Melbourne 5 years ago and used to listen to Rex and the boys
coverage every saturday down there. Now we get their coverage up here on
2EC, and damn i have to say, i can't listen to it anymore. They use stupid
nicknames for everyone on the ground, (So you have know idea where the ball
is or who's got it) They play constistant bad reproductions of song snips
when goals are kicked. (wtf has listen to the band got to do with an AFL
goal). And then to YELL over each other all the time.

I'm reduced to watching it on Austar or FTA now.

Channel 10's FTA is as bad. They ramble incessantly of thing nothing to do
with the game, regardless of what is happening. All bloody buffoons. They
totally ruin coverage.

He opted to kick to Pettifer and the kick dropped short and was marked by
Lions Scott Drummond.Agree with you re the 3AW call though. I was at the
game and listening on the radio. 3AW got it wrong on numerous occasions.

3AW is the absolute worst commentary in Australia,
even worse than George Grljusich.
On the odd occasion that I'm forced to listen to them
it's torturous.

Has anyone listened to SEN?

The only time I couldn't get the Bombers on ABC, I forgot about SEN. Listened to
MMM and 3AW - both crap. Nothing but laughing at each others' crap and no idea
where the ball is.
