MMUtil not working under WinXP for AOpen PA256 MX II

Hi.
I recently bought AOpen PA256 MX II graphic card (Geforce2 MX chip) - The driver is NVidia detonatorXP Ver 21.83

It was working just fine when I used Windows 98.

Now, I tried to install the AOpen multimedia utility (OpenGPU + Liveupdate) under Windows XP.

I downloaded the latest MMUtil file from AOpen website (file dated as 15th Aug 01).

I executed it, the installation went smoothly.

But, when I tried to open OpenGPU, the program just crashes. When I tried to open Liveupdate, it says it can't find the aopen videocard.

So I tried the old version of MmUtil that came with the CD. (for Win2K)

After installation I get this series of errors for both programs.

Now these utilities worked flawlessly under Windows98. So I'm thinking this is OS related problem.. might be compatibility problem...

My system is as follows..

Aopen PA256 MX2 GF2 MX card (detonatorXP 21.83)
Core tmep around 40-50. Everything at default setting.

350W enhance AMD aproved PSU
Aopen Ak73-1394 MOBO (KT133+686B)
AMD Duron 850@850 + Justcooler P8000 HSF (34 degree idle, 48 load) running VCool
Seagate baraccuda 4 20GB HDD (NTSC on OS partition, FAT322 on others)
Acer 16x10x40 CDRW
Windows XP Professional (English version)
On-board AC97 sound
Generic 2 button serial mouse
silitek SK-2500 multimedia keyboard (no special driver prigram loaded)
FDD
Acer ALN-328 10/100 NIC

Well, given that the file you downloaded is dated before Windows XP even launched, I'm guessing the file and application is not WinXP Compatible.
I'm not sure why you need to run anything other than the latest Detonator Drivers? What does this AOPen app do?
