Hi can anyone help I need to buy a new dvdplayer. Want something decent but I'm not going to pay $600 etc.
Needs to have a karaoke function :o
and obviously region free or can be made region free.

Someone was looking for one with a karaoke function just recently....
I think they found one, can't remember which it was, maybe search on karaoke in both this section and the divx section and you might find it.

I think you will find that your criteria is going to mean you won't be spending more than $150 anyway

I don't know if you have harvey norman in qld, i would be guessing so. Last weekend when I was in there, they had an LG, forget the model. It played every format possible, karaoke and everything for 69 bucks (while stocks lasted).

With those basic requirements Houndsy I personally would be on the look out for some run out bargins at the large dept stores and you should be able to pick up a deal for under 100 bucks.

Ok thanks but I didn't want to get a cheap one that didn't do say progessive scan etc just for the Karaoke function.
