Can't understand why so few people respond to Doug's picture posts.

A vaguely interesting snapshot, but did they actually make all these,
or are they just the sellers? As for the image, difficult to be sure
on such a small one, but looks like you have insufficient depth of
field to keep the kids sharp. Composition could be better - why
include the car, why so much tarmac, why not step slightly to the left
so the bird house doesn't obscure the kid?

Lastly the frame line is very distracting and draws the eye away from
the subject.

These are all things that a professional would either notice while
shooting, or fix in p-p.

PS, if you cross-post, do it properly.

And I think you're commenting more on the person than the shot. I try very
hard to ignore all the personal sniping and diatribes - I suspect the only
people who find it the least bit interesting are those indulging in the
petty bitching.

As for the shot in question, I like it, and am glad "Douglas", or whoever he
is, chose to share it with us. I like the composition - I like the wet
bitumen, I like the bit of astroturf laid over the paving, I like the focus
on the artfully arranged kitsch on display, and I like the kids off in the
background all rugged up like old people.

That's D-Mac's new storefront for his new Professional Digital Print
