Bit off topic, might be of interest ............
If you need to buy memory for your Camera or GPS etc.
Be VERY Carefull when buying from e-bay and sometimes on-line.
If it's supplied/posted from China be very sus. Even if international
e-bay sellers with USA or UK in their email address.
Many new Chinese memory companies are passing off their basic memory
cards as expensive brands.
which do NOT have the high speed controller licience technology of the
few OEM manufactures in China.
1 Some cards don't work - ie they will not reach the rated capacity.
2 Others that do are INCREDIBLY SLOW - you can test a read/write
compared to a known original card.
Many people complain X memory brand doen't work in their equipment,
when infact it's clearly fake memory card bought of e-bay or wherever
that has caused the issue.
Their high tech fakes are getting pretty good appearance wise,
- but a performance test proves otherwise.
Looks like the Chinese have upgraded from fake golf clubs/ brand name
merchandise shoes / Clothes and are now going high tech.
