You're limited to players similar to the Z500 to get USB2.0 support, you need something with Sigma Designs chipset, all of the cheaper MediaTek based units only do USB1.1 data rates
Thanks mate.
Looks like a z500 then.
Pretty cheap now anyway.

A few retailers doing this kind of pricing http://www.megapc.com.au/product_details_and_order.php?select_part_indx=427 0 maybe call some of the resellers near you and see if they can price match

I have been running a Z500 for about 3 months and i can say it's easily the best Divx player that money can buy.I have tried plenty of options for watching downloads on my 102 cm plasma and the Zen does by far the best looking results. That's not to say it's a perfect machine,it has plenty of quirks and you will need to do plenty of tweaking before you get the bastard running with any sort of reliabillity.Out of the box it is next to usless so don't say i didn't warn you.Main problems are getting all the firmware updates and getting the picture resolution right. There is no way of changing pic resolution on the fly so if your viewing on a 1080 capable device you will have to manually change the res from 1080i50 for pal content and 1080i60 for ntsc. It's a pain but when you get the res right the content looks awesome. The standard dvd of Apocalypto upscaled to 1080i looks marvelous. As good as anything you will see on free to air HD.I got mine for under $400 with postage and i reckon it's a bargain at that if you don't mind piss farting around with it for a few months to get used to all the little Zenisims :p
Playing Divx 9/10
Playing DVD 8/10
Playing various other formats a lucky dip/10
