Hi all

I replaced my motherboard and processor last week, I now have an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ in an MSI motherboard. All was fine at first, but over the weekend my PC has just stopped working all of a sudden. Now, when I switch on my PC nothing much happens. i.e. the PSU starts up and the LED's come on, the HDD's make the usual noises etc. but nothing displays on the screen... I can't even get to BIOS.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help!!

Matt

The first thing I would try would be to make sure nothing has come loose. Disconnect all the non-essentials (PCI cards, CD-ROM drives, floppy drives, even hard drives!) and try reseating your graphics card, RAM, and even CPU.

Alex, this is actually a doubled up post, the original one is down a few threads, I've already suggested the loose card scenario, but has been cancelled out. :(
