Truthfully, my first choice was Jewfish Point, but the Northern aspect and
$200,000.00 lower price of Oyster Bay was hard to beat. Anyway, I just tell
people that I live 1km West of Kangaroo Point. That usually impresses the
Hell out of most people. Of course, a house in Oyster Bay is about a million
Bucks cheaper, on average.

I hope you have your "Flame Suit" on Oz. FWIW, I admire successful people
and those who are honest enough to come forward and tell their stories. I
don't know if your's is true or not but at least you had the "balls" to have
a go. If you are bullshitting, you are only bullshitting yourself because it
will have no influence on others because no one else can prove one way or
another.
I tried once in aus.tv some 18months ago purely to let others know if you
want to be successful in life all you had to do was to have a go at it. I
gave some examples of my successes in life and I am still copping shit for
it when all I was trying to do was help others. The one thing I found from
that episode was all the gutless wonders/losers with no achievements/goals
in life had a field day doing what they do best.
Anyway, good for you and I hope it continues to go well for you. Now you can
sit back, have laugh and watch all the weasels come out and put you down,
but don't worry, they are the grubs of the newsgroup eating others shit.

99 times out of 100, the people who feel they are "helping others" simply by
talking about their own successes are cock tuggers who are doing nothing
other than satisfying their *own* ego's.
Whether Oz's story is true or not I can't tell you. If I had to bet money on
it I'd say it's the greatest crock of shit I've heard in quite some time,
but that's not the point. The point in that ****ing idiot's case is that
it's *quite* clear that no one here gives the slightest shit about him or
his "achievements", yet for some strange reason he still feels it necessary
to brag about his activities as if anyone cares.
That's got nothing whatsoever to do with "helping people", and everything
with blowing air up your own skirt just to make yourself feel good, and any
physiologist will tell you that such activity is purely compensatory.

What they fail to realise too is that there are plenty of people who don't

**Pre-zactly. It's a horrible place. OTOH, two houses away from me, is a guy
who just spent 3 million Bucks on his house. Indoor pool, the works. Four
houses in the other direction is an old weather-board joint, full of
renters. The rest of the street is somewhere in the middle. There's company
directors, doctors, the odd retired first grade sports person, builders,
electricians, plumbers, doctors, musicians, a great masseuse (no, not that
kind!) unemployed and retired people (truck driver, pilot, accountant, etc).
A good mix, from all walks of life. The thing that blew me away, when I
first moved here was the friendliness of the people. Everyone says "G'day".
I was invited in for a cuppa by three people in my first month in the place.
Christmas drinks with the neighbours was a hoot and I look forward to next
Christmas. I've borrowed a concrete mixer from one neighbour and get my
building advice for free from another. It's more like a small country town
than suburban Sydney.

There's that line in goodfellas - about "paulie [the kingpin] moved slow
- that's only because paulie didn't have to ****en move for anybody"
simple truth is if he _had_ done half the shit he said he had, he
wouldn't _need_ to tell anyone. Nor would he brag about cars without
posting pictures. It doesn't add up unless of course he doesn't own
them......
