Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of living and driving a car in
South Australia but having the vehicle registered in Victoria?
Do I need a residential address in Victoria, does the car need to be driven
over to Victoria for a annual RWC?
Thanks Philby

You need a residential address in vic. no the car does not need an annual
road worthy. Legally you must be a resident of victoria to be to have a
victorian registered car.

I think that a Victorian address is all you need
you do not have to have a RWC when you sell a vehicle unless you are selling
it as registered
You can sell it without a RWC but you must hand the plates back till the new
owner gets a RWC
but that would be up to the new owner as to when and if they get one

I can't register this vehicle in SA as it's a Left Hand Drive pickup with
LPG. It can be registered in Vistoria though.

Damn, SA was one of only two states , QLD was the other, where you could
legally register a left hand drive car or truck till other states came into
line with them
I wouldn't have thought that LPG would be any problem.
Victoria will register left hand drive vehicles if they are a certain age, I
think pre 1970
