The Web programmer who made the compare calculator should go back to
school !

Since when does 4.4L/100 over 9,000 at $1.25 = $79.00 per year fuel
cost for the prius ?
.......me thinks more like $495.00.

Funny how they got the compared car to calculate out correctly, but
couldn't do the same calculation for their own car!

"Thats if you get the ADR cycle" of 4.4L/100 !!!

Bring on plug in's now that will be intersting Kw/h per 100Km .....

A kilowatt is a kilowatt. They are all measured per hour.
But an SS won't be generating 300KW per hour - it generates it in short
bursts.
Kw/H/100km will be even more hit and miss than ADR L/100km, as it won't take
into account the power used by the cars electrics. Some people drive around
without even a radio on, others have aircon up full, radio blasting, satnav,
heated seats, night vision, headlights...

Either way, the storage of such a large amount of electrical energy is
decades away in cars.
