STB DVD TV Cable Setup Help

I am having problems with the cable setup for a STB DVD TV setup

I want to be able to record from the STB to the DVD Recorder

I have MTV Digital TV STB
Liteon DVD Recorder
NEC TV
LG VHS


The STB Box has the following on Rear Panel

Antenna In - Loop Out AV/Video Audio R.L


DVD Recorder Rear Panel

- VHF In/Out
- Line In SVideo
- Line In Composite Input
- Component Video Input (Y/Pb/Pr)
- Line out Composite Signal output
- Line out SVideo - Digital Coaxial Out
- Digital Optical Out

TV
AV 1 - Currently DVD Recorder
AV 2 - Currently satellite Receiver
AV Out
AV 3 Front Panel - STB Receiver

Can anyone assist in the correct cable setup :rolling:

I am not familar with your exact type of STB or DVD Rec, but try running a connection from the STB to the DVD Rec.


By using a split adaptor (http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/46a985f10ad77f98273fc0a87f9c07a6/Product/View/C1242)http://www.dse.com.au/isroot/dse/images/products/c1242.jpg, you should be able to run to both the TV and the DVD Rec on the one STB output.

I run my STB to my DVD using a RCA connection into the Video in/audio in connections.

If you run the same connections to your TV, you will need 3 of the above adaptors (1 for Video, 1 for Left Audio and one for Right audio.
