Any of you guys own a Palm Treo 750, or used one for any length of time?
If so, what are your thoughts on the unit?
Looking at sourcing one, probably off Ebay, as they can be bought for
around $600-750, depending on the twats who get into a bidding frenzy two
days into a 7 day auction.
I own a Palm Zire 71 PDA which is due to be replaced. So, the idea of a
Palm Treo where I can have all of my contacts, schedules, etc. all on the
one unit appeals to me. But not the price, unfortunately.
If I can get one for not much more than the price of a decent Windows
Mobile based PDA, then the money diff I hope to make up if I sell my
Samsung A501.
Another thing - I can salary sacrifice a PDA as "tools of trade" but a
Palm Zire, while a PDA, is also a phone, so that prevents me from going
down that route. I asked - can I sal. sac the value of the PDA component.
Nope the bean counters at work said. Bugger, I replied.
