Fuzz everywhere on the M4, lots of police-cars of all types travelling east
between Bathurst and SY. Big meeting suppose.

Heat stopped at Bathurst. Guess the western town police flew down.

Hmmm. Thanks for the heads up. I'm in the Sydney office today and will
be driving home tonight.

There was a riot training exercise out west for the APEC summit

Huh?
And the relevance of that location to the real riot risk location is?

No doubt the riot will be caused by shit-off *drivers* because of a
multiplicity of closed roads and assorted self-important authorities
general wanking and tossing.

300 cops (and sniffer dogs) were testing equipment against a group of
people throwing stuff at them and a car bomb going off.

Footage was on TEN news tonight.

Yep, that would be it. The increased HP activity in lue of the "drag-racing"
accident is much increased. When I got home, the local HP were out in force.
The local paper had a big heading "crackdown on hoons" plus an article and
photo of HP inspecting burn-out tyre marks on a local road. Nothing really
new here, but the fact the NSW police are asking for a special fund for HP
costs on the back of this St Mary's incident.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but aren't there many more than a few
high-profile crashes and fatalities that constitute our road-toll?
