Hello there i have just went out and purchased a new Digicrystal PVR Set top box SDT-9077P from Strathfield car radios.There are a few things that i have spent hours trying to figure out with no success.
Firstly just to verify that i'm doing this right cause was not listed in the manual.As far as Recording one show while watching another,i press record,then to view another channel,i go to Menu,channel list and click ok on which channel i want to view.Is this the right way?
1:What is timeshift and what does it do?
2:What does event status mean in the EPG scheduled recording menu?Yes i know it says the word "Reserved channel" in the manual on this topic,but i have no idea what's a reserved channel and what difference does turning Event status on or off do?
3:How do i delete scheduled recordings from the EPG menu?For examle just say i go into the EPG and setup a schedule record,being the only 1 i want to record,i think it would be event id 1.OK lets say i schedule to record channel ABC at midday weekly (Mon-Fri) After i have set this and it records for a few days,if i no longer want this schedule and want to delete it,how do i do it?
4:This is a very stange one,when going into the EPG and click ok to get the menu up,then scrolling to the right of number 1,it brings up sub menu 1-15 individual schedules which are available.I go highlight all from 1-15 and somebody (NOT ME) has scheduled all 15 of them to record at different times,why?Which ghost scheduled all 15 of them,and more importantly how do i delete all these schedules?
5:When scheduling a recording in the EPG,instead of having numbers 1-15 in the Event id,can i rename these something else just like you can rename after recording to Hard drive?For example if i schedule 3 recordings,instead of 1,2,3 lets say i want to call them-Midday movie,News,A current affair.Can i do this?
6:Where can i download the latest firmare v1.04 from as it's not available on the Digicrystal site.When upgrading Firmware,just say i have v1.01,if i want v1.04 do i have to also download and upgrade to v1.02 then v1.03?Or can i go straight from v1.01 to v1.04?
7:Finally Is it possible to move a channel to a number you want?For example,lets say i've got the ABC but it has the number 6 in front of it.Then channel 7 comes up with the number 3 in front of it.How can i move ABC to have the number 2 (NOT position 2 in the list of channels) Then put channel 7 on number 7 (again NOT position 7 in the list of channels)
