LG DVD/VCR Combi Reciever Volume level

Hi,

Just bought the basic LG home theatre package Model LH-CX247, set it up, all fine and good, however, one small little annoyance which is driving me craaaaaaazy.

When i switch on the unit the volume level is always on 9, if turn it down to level 5 or even 0, turn it off, then turn back on, its on level 9 again??. Not a great big deal as 9 is not too loud, but when got a baby sleeping in next room it does become an issue.

I am no expert, but dont all DVDs/VCRs/TVs always turn back on at the level you last had it on? is this a setting that can be changed?

As i said everything else functions fine and new unit is connected to an LG TV and is set up accordance to manual.

Not that this solves your problem, but when I watch the TV/DVD Etc. I connect a pair of headphones to the TV (fortunatley mine has a headphone jack in the front. My LG DVD player also has a headphone jack).

That way no noise to wake the kids up. :boonie:

Yeh headphones would be the answer lol :dD , but i feel something isn't right here and its bugging me.

I hope its something silly that ive missed, but if its not, i find it a bit weird?
