I have seen an MTV DVD player for approx $50 at Bi-Lo and wish to know if anyone knows what they are like before I purchase one. If anyone can give me a quick run-down of the machine, and if possible a rating out of 10 it would be greatly appreciated,

I know of someone who has replaced theirs twice and finally gave up and got a refund.
I didn't know until recently as I never paid attention :o, but the wife got one of these from Coles for something like $34.00 and has had it in one of the kids rooms. I just asked her how it's been going and she says that it hasn't given her any problems and it gets a good workout.
It won't recognize anything that is burnt on a DVD after the initial burn session though, so if you have a DVD with multiple files that were burnt at different times, it will only play the file(s) burnt in the very first session.
