Had my first warranty claim today with the CR-V. As I said some time back, I
will be posting only honest genuine posts with regard to the CR-V. Afterall,
it's a ****ing car, so why the **** you dicks think I would want to praise
up something when it's not warranted is beyond me. They had to change the
diff oil to stop the 4WD from engaging going around sharp corners. How the
**** that would fix the problem, **** only knows, but it did. Obviously, the
4WD section is not Honda's strong point as the mechanics knew straight away
what the problem was.

Was this one of the crappy Thai built models?

No, it was the last of the '06 models which were ALL made in Japan. Only the
new current ones are made in Thailand.

OK that's good... they were the last decent CR-Vs. Best power to weight
ratio by far of any of the 3 gens.

It's a bloody nice car overall despite what the ****ers say in here about
anything that's Honda or FWD. It has taken me places I would never take a
Commode or a Falcon eg Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach without any hint of a
problem. My only current bitch about the car is the fuel tank is too bloody
small for the distances I travel. I put the brilliant driving comfort and
safety to the FWD. Now where is my rod again. :>)

Now if only you could get yourself a decent TV set, rather than one of those
crappy flat panels, you'd be all set.

Flat panel LCD is the only way to go TV on your desk if you
need the space. LCD projection onto a white painted wall is
the only way to go if you want the big screen.

I have both, and dual port satellite dish on the
balcony.

I quite frankly don't know why I worked on the patent
for plasma in the 1980s. No point to it, it's wrong.

Absolutely...I have the X series (1080P) Bravia 46" in the client viewing
room and a Panasonic HD LCD projector in the theatrette. Wanting a 1080p
projector though.

Put it down to the fact that it has 78% nitrogen in it's tyres if you want,
but it's not like you'd have the slightest clue.

You're better with a pale grey wall, and DLP projectors will usually shit
