My daughter tried calling me on her new phone, a Motorola Vxxx I think it is.
She tried it via a video call. However, I was on the phone at the time so she
got the message bank.
When I went to retrieve the message, the display on the phone said that there
was one video message. I called 101 and the voice said "you have one video
message".
When it played back, all I got was my daughter's voice telling me that she had
her new phone and was testing its video calling feature.
Now the Palm Treo 750 supposedly doesn't do video calling, so I remove the SIM
card and put it back into my Samsung A501 which does do video calling. I got the
same result. A voice message saying that it is a video message but no video
coming through.
Why would it say that it's a "video message" when all there is is audio?
Oh, she's with 3 Mobile on a 3G service. I'm on NextG.
Double, oh, she also tried it with my wife who has a Nokia 6233 3G phone on
Telstra. She also got the "video message", sans video in the message bank.
