Should anyone "need" a SNES modification, I've done it before and can do it again. I can also discuss how to if you're attempting it yourself and need some advice. Here are some photos of SNES's I've modified:

My first modified SNES:

My second modified SNES (PAL motherboard in an NTSC SNES case):

Unless the admin objects, I'm splitting this into two-parts to get around the ridiculous 5 image per post limit. Feel free to edit them together Watchie, if that's possible.

This I sold on eBay, with a 3rd-party controller, a 3rd-party power supply (for Aus points) and a first-party AV cable.

My 4th modified SNES:

This one doesn't include a switch for 50/60Hz - all I did was open it up and disable the lockout chip so that I could sell it with above pictured super famicom (japan region) game (without having to include the universal adapter I own and don't use).

Nice. I always loved this console. Whether it was because it was the console of my high school years, and we played it alot after school I dnno, but it is the one with the fondest memories. NTSC motherboard in PAL case would be sweet, as the PAL console always looked much nicer, but no Final Fantasy's.

Never owned one. Always at a mates house. But I did have 2 x N64 in the era, and 2 at a later date for retroing.

CASES ARE ALL IN VG CONDITION,, 2 LOOK A BIT DIRTY BUT CAN BE POLISHED UP..

Every once in a while I'll send a message to let sellers know of errors in their message - in this case i emailed to ask about postage, and noted that the cases aren't dirty the plastic has deteriorated /= "VG cond". He responds with a rude, poorly written reply.

Why are people idiots? the plastic has changed colour because it's poor quality stuff that when exposed to too much light deteriorates - especially in warm humid conditions (this is why many people don't have discoloured game consoles). Just about all consoles are like this, except some will "hide" the deterioration - for instance the N64 and megadrive are black, so the plastic may deteriorate without showing visual signs. It becomes brittle and cracks easily. I bet you could explain that to the nitwit and he'd still claim it can be "polished up".

I had some dude today send me a message about an incorrect listing on a football shirt. I set him straight, as he was totally incorrect.

Wonder what these 8 will go for.

Yeah well, in my experience if you point out an error to a seller they usually just say "thanks" and then edit the item description (same thing I've done when I've made errors).
