This statement is not totally correct

They are I believe a breakaway from the Qld DVD swap club and charge $20 a year to be a member

If you want this sort of service your better off with the origional that has been around for over 2 years and stood the test of time, they only charge a joining fee and no yearly fee

Just an opinion

HI, I am the owner/writer of Aussie.MySwapSpot.com. I had never seen this eyo website before, or the other one mentioned, dvd swap from Queensland. I started learning to write websites in php, and I searched a bit for a swapping website, and found none. I must admit I didn't look too hard, I was enjoying the programming a lot. Anyway, I noticed yesterday my website getting a lot of hits coming from this eyo site. So, thanks for visiting!!
Anyway, I've had a look around here, and my site is like this one, neither is it like the dvd swap site from Qld. Firstly, you can swap anything at my site, not just dvds. Also, everything for swap is able to be found in categories, so you don't have to look through heaps of posts, which is what I think you have to do at this site.
There are lot of other benefits also. I think I will take the advice of the person who wrote the second post here, and make just a joinup fee, maybe $10 Australian. But anyway, it's early days for my site at the moment, I hope to make it better over time. If any of you have any suggestions for me, please email them!
Thanks,
Monicque.

Sorry, I just re-read that last post I wrote, and there are so many mistakes in it. I must be half asleep. What I meant to say was that I was enjoying programming, so I just wrote the site and launched it. I didn't really think there were many other sites that did the same thing, I hadn't found any. But I didn't really look that hard for them either.
Also, I meant to say that Aussie.MySwapSpot.com was not like this or the other dvd swap site.
Well, I must go, but thanks for visiting my website and reading my mistake filled posts!

LOL :)
Good one danielb.

Mac, maybe the fact that the "Yes" vote has no votes at all had something to do with his comment. :p

It's a couple of months late, but I just added a 4th option since the thread has been bumped up to the top again. :):p

Yep, just clicked ... (after danielb told me on msn  ).

Because I haven't voted, and i'm too lazy to view the results, I didn't realise there were no "yes" votes :p

You're right, I never voted on the poll, but that's because, I must admit, I've never swapped anything on the net, or used ebay or anything like that.... As I think I said before, I was much more interested in doing computer programming (writing a website) than actually using websites. My husband has used all the auction/buy/trade/sell websites, so I knew there were lots of people out there who did use that sort of site.

Anyway, just a question, on the poll, I put 'no, too scared of receiving dud dvd's through the mail' as an option, and people have voted on that. But what is the difference between my swap site and this one in that regard? How does this site make it safer to swap things? Is it because you can chat more or something?

Thanks!
SEE ya,
Monicque.
