Hi everyone,

I am a HUGE fan of the sims
and would like to create a thread for all you sim fans out there

if you know any hints or cheat codes

please sent them in

I have quite a few cheats

check em out

type Alt + Ctrl + C and type in rosebud to get 1000 simeleons
if you do that multiple times your money load will build up

Sounds like you have the Livin' Large expansion.. thus:
Island home
Type "water_tool" at the command prompt.
Rosebud
The new Livin' Large mod for The Sims also has a new money code. Instead of "Klapaucius," you type "Rosebud" at the command prompt. Type "Rosebud ;!;!;!;!;!;!;!" for a large amount of extra cash.
Route balloons
Type "route_balloons on" at the command prompt. This displays little balloons explaining why a character is delayed or not doing what you asked. To turn it off, type "route_balloons off" at the command prompt.
Set free-thinking level
Type "autonomy #" at the command prompt, where # is an IQ between 1 and 100.
Set time of day
Type "set hour #" at the command prompt, where # is an hour in military time (1-24).

with rosebud if you add ;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! and then some random letter and hold enter, you'll get heaps of cash! And if you get that cheat message pop up dw keep holding enter

I find that keeping your sims happy is hard
I have evicted them so many times and got them to buy their house again to buy furniture to get skill points.

and I made a mistake I bulldozed a house and wanna get it back how do I get a house?

if you have to download a house could someone please tell me where do I install it to on windows XP?

the only sim game I havent got is unleashed and the sims 2 pack

I bought The Sims 2 for Christmas or my sisters. So once they start playing it, itll probably get me back into it :p

I used to play Big Brother. Have a house of 8 people and evict (kill) the member i liked the least at the end of each day. Prety funny. Especially with all the ways you can kill them. Highligh of it was the unexpeced double evicition night when the favourite was electrocuted while fixing the TV :eek:

click on your sim(s)

you will get a message asking " delete deased or unknown"

click on Ok

go to Live mode and you will see your sims happy and their special needs will be full

her star level is currently on "studio fly"

how do I get her to level up?

I keep on getting a message saying something like " you need more people to hear you" blah blah blah please help

the only thing my sim hasn't got is logic she has gained all the other skills please help :)

Hi everyone I have found a cheat to make your sim happy and looking after them at the same time follow this cheat

put you sim(s) to bed

press Ctrl + Shift + C

you will get a prompt box

type move_objects on

go to build mode

click on your sim(s)

you will get a message asking " delete deased or unknown"

click on Ok

go to Live mode and you will see your sims happy and their special needs will be full

they dont need to be asleep to do that.
i do that all the time.. when they're just walking around delete them and click them back again.

when it says you need more people to hear you it means when you're performing there usually people around that come and listen to you. There isnt any point if you cant get noticed by fans :)

also charisma and creativity is all you basically need to be a superstar. make sure you have as much of those skills as possible.

have you ever noticed that sims talk to each other in the toilet? It happens heaps if you have house party. Me and my mates love the sims soo much that we listen to the songs every now and then and we play the game at school in out free periods!

if you have Sims making magic you can create a charm to make people happy. when people are happy they accept proposals

the pixie has diamond dust.

you have to have enough magic coins before they show up as being available.

you gain magic coins by performing magic shows in the magic town.

no i dont think so. i havnt been able to find it. but when you have enough and you check with the pixie or that other dude it will show up when you have enough coins to buy it

thanks for your help las, yeah I might keep on trying to type in the cheat code prepare_lot in the prompt box I hear you can get magic coins using that cheat.

I will also try and look up more cheats on magic coins as well and post them here

well I have good news everyone

my two sims recently got married

I have found a way to get your sim to marry instantly this takes a few go's but is worth it

1.buy a table and a genie lamp and clean it
2. keep on trying when you get a message with two options love and money
3. choose love
4. your love one may fall in love with you and will accept your marriage proposal
