Yes Paul, scale is irrelevant if you have the ability to move around large
physical objects in order to measure their dimensional properties. You
don't have such ability. Not that it matters, humans cannot detect by eye
alone an elliptical property that amounts to a minor axis 1/300th shorter
than the major axis. I could draw a small one or a great big one and you
would swear it's a perfect circle. If you could detect the imperfection by
eye alone you would be the first and only person in history to have such an
amazing capability.

Met everyone in history, have you?
The fact is you are blowing this out of your ass. Draw a 1:1 scale of
the earth and lets see if I can or cannot tell the difference in it
and a perfect circle, same size, same scale.

Paul says the earth is an oblate spheroid. If Paul divided an oblate
spheroid equatorialy Paul would get two hemi-oblate spheroids.
So all you Ozzies out there, according to Paul you live in the Southern
Hemi-Oblate Spheroid! It's going to be a bitch for the entire planet to
rewrite all those tourist brochures and stuff in order to appease Paul's
demand for precision. Or we could just declare that he has anal combative
disorder and tell him to go STFU.

Only the entire culture of Christmas. In the states you mentioned, is Santa
depicted wearing Bermuda shorts and Hawiian shirts? Does he deliver
presents from a surf board drawn by kangaroos? Have you ever heard a song
that goes "I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas"?

No, he isn't depicted in those ways, but guess what? In Hawaii, businessmen
go to work in suits and ties, not Hawaiian shirts. Santa's dress is
appropriate for Santa, and has nothing to do with the weather. Besides, do
you know what the temperature would have been when & where Jesus was born?

Most historians (the ones that beleive there was a Jesus) have determined he
was born sometime in the month of September, so Dec 25'th has about as much
to do with Jesus' birthday as the other 363 days he wasn't born on. There
are absolutely no references to the celebration of Christmas in the bible.
Christmas has origins in pagansim, the most likely explanation is that it
was usurped from pagans and rebranded by Christians in order to transition
them to Christianity. There were several ancient celebrations that took
place at or near winter solstice long before Jesus existed (if he indeed
ever did).

Everything to do with winter since Christmas was originally a winter
solstice celebration:
"Yule is a winter festival associated with the winter solstice celebrated in
northern Europe since ancient times. Its Christianized form is called
"Christmas", which is essentially the symbology and traditions of Yule with
the Christian story of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth superimposed upon it."
