Lo res

My Firefox is loading in Lo res. I then need to reset the res to
highest
manually. On properties there is a comparability option but it doesn't
include XP. On the Control P display/settings which is set correctly
but as soon as I try to load Firefox, the screen goes blank and
everything is blurred. Perhaps I need the start-up file please?.
Perhaps the profile I have set? Perhaps reload the prg? Any
suggestions?

After you launch Firefox with the screen going blank and Firefox
opening in low resolution, the Display Settings would show the
resolution is set to low, then exiting Firefox without touching the
Display Settings the screen resolution would go back to normal?

What is showing or is selected on the Compatibility tab of the Firefox
(shortcut) Properties? I don't have an XP system handy to look, but
you can look at the Compatibility tab of Properties of other programs
(or shortcuts) to see what they have as a guide.

With Firefox closed, UNcheck anything checked on the Compatibility tab
in the Firefox (shortcut) Properties, Apply and OK out.
Then try loading Firefox again.

Thanks for your help. I understand more about lo res now.
OK I've saved myself trouble by turning off everything on the
Compatabilities switch and FireFox is launching without problems. When
I go to gmail FireFox can't load it. I think it could be something in
Profiles. Gmail is loading on IExplorer. Thanks again for help.
