Can anyone help me?

I have just bought an Apex PD10 Portable DVD Player and need to get it Multi Region or at least play Region 2 DVD's.

Living in hope, Thanks

Found this at DVDRHelp.com (http://www.dvdrhelp.com):

1. Open the player's tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 8, 4, 2, 1.
3. A hidden menu will appear.
Note: You may need to put a DVD into the player and then perform part 2 of the hack. The player may flash "wrong region code" before playing.

Another method:

1. Put the region 2 DVD into the player (this player I assume is R1 by default).
2. Wait for the "Regional Code Violation" message to disappear.
3. Press 2 on the remote control.
4. The player will say "Wrong Region Code", then start the movie at a random point.
5. Press Menu on the remote control, then the message disappears.

Thanks for your help but I tried that and it didn't work on the PD10. I think that one may be for the PD100 that unlock.

The PD10 is a portable DVD with monitor. Any other ideas?

Sorry, your right.
It was for the PD100.

Some searching yeilded this:
Have managed to get my PD10 to work with region 2 disks. Put in the region 2 disk, while its loading press a number repeatedly until the screen flashes black,if it doesnt work with the first number go on to the next one, the digi display will then tell you that the disk has loaded by putting up the chapter numbers etc. Press play and it will work but with varying degrees of sound, I am working on a fix for the sound and it looks like it will involve playing a vcds first. However it works as is with headphones or active speakers.

On DVDRHelp, they offer the same "hack" as above, for the PD650. Actually, they say to constantly press 1,causing the system to play from track 1.
I think this is the best your going to get, at the moment anyways.

That one worked, but as you said poor sound.

Thank you for your help and I would appreciate if you let me know if you manage to find out how to sort out the sound (I'm hopeful it will be before Christmas, as it is a present for my daughter).

Any other findings would be appreciated.
