Managers are now being offered the above cars in place of the usual
Falcadores. So far the current choices being offered are Prius, Turbo diesel
VW's and Turbo diesel Mondeo's. Could be the start of many changes when
replacement time comes around for other reps and managers of other companies
as well. I wonder how many will opt for the Prius? I'd imagine not too many
........ in the country anyway.

At least now they are starting to make diesels more like cars than trucks.
Comming with the same options etc it almost worth buying a diesel these
days.

Those Mondeos look quite nice but havent driven one yet.

The one thing that shits me about owning a diesel vehicle here is that
it is not rocket science to develop a bowser nozzle that doesn't leave
your hand stinking of diesel all day. After all, if the Italians, the
Spanish, the Portuguese and even the fucking Turks can supply diesel
from nozzles that don't leak on your hands, why the fuck can't we?

Woolworths sell petrol and they're doing this? The fuel supply situation
must be worse than we thought.

IMO the problem is not with the nozzles but with the careless people who
use them, they spill diesel all over the place.
I always wear gloves when refueling the truck so its not a problem.

They also sell diesel, maybe there is a bigger profit margin on diesel.

Does not worry me. Pick the right servo that has
high volume pumps and handles that have a click on option.

Rocket science kicks in finding such an animal though.

I always wear gloves too
there are a few servos that recognise this problem
the Shell on Bribie Island Rd has disposable plastic gloves for you to
use and the Shell out at Tamborine Village has a box on those plastic
sandwich bags for you to use

but Daryl is right
it's those pigs that don't give a shit about the smell of diesel on
their hands and instead of letting the nozzle drain before hanging up
the hose they just pull it out and hang it up
diesel being an oil will seep and spread where ever it is spilled
and the nozzles being hung pointing up make it run down over the handle
