**You say this as if they have a choice. They don't. When petrol hits 3
Bucks a Litre and then 5 Bucks a Litre, they will care. A lot.

AAAaaaaaaar . Now some one is catching on.
However there will be those that can still afford it and even those
who can finance and give away other quality of life to drive giant
gas guzzlers.
But the other side of the coin is (if certain science that I am on
the outer edge of) does prove economically viable and enough soup can
be obtained (Algae)
alternative fuels by such things as photo bioreactors could keep the
price down and add some other benefits as well.
Hence why we are constructing pilot plants for proof of concept
within the real world and away from the labs .
