I believe it's listed as MalWare, it will modify your 'puter
in order to work. Malware tends to do the opposite of what it
says it does. So spyware vanisher becomes spyware attractor

Please state the facts supporting your belief.

Why don't you state the facts supporting your disbelief?
Or did you just type that to be a prick?
Bloke expressed an opinion. This isn't a courtroom.

I don't have an opinion. That's why I asked.

> Or did you just type that to be a prick?

No. I was interested in the answer.

> Bloke expressed an opinion. This isn't a courtroom.

Sure. But I'm still interested in the facts. Where is it listed as
malware? Does it modify your computer in order to work? How?

Are these not legitimate matters for this NG? And raised in a reasonable
way?

It's something called "experience", and when you grow up and get a bit
older, you'll might even have some, too.

I agree with SOB. Generally, programs that contain names that overtly
and directly purport to be protective are more than likely to be
totally the opposite. There are quite a few of these programs around.

The one you've got ...? From the name of it, I wouldn't touch it with
a bargepole!!

I use Avira AntiVir, Spyware Blaster, Spybot - Search and Destroy, and
Ad-Aware. All freeware.
I've had no particular problem with my computers. That's my experience.

Your experience rests solely on a name. So much for the facts...

I guess I read your request as a "put up or shut up" demand.
Might be my problem with language.......only been speaking it for 60+
years.

Maybe yours, though.

You are quite welcome to try English. What is your language, BTW?

Mine is English, but I can get by in Spanish. I'm trying to learn Russian
ATM.

Not bad!
Not bad!

You do write English, well.
Maybe you need to look at how you express yourself.

A command of a language doesn't, automatically, make you a
communicator.

Take Gareth Evans, for example.

Anyway......

I'm assuming you have Internet Access......

just google or yahoo spyware +vanisher +malware and see what pops
up, it's not that hard.

If you want to know what Malware is then just Google or Yahoo
Malware +wiki, also not very difficult.

If their domain name was registered with godaddy, then it would
definitely be a scam.
